After the excitment of Queenstown we headed a little further south to Dunedin on the East coast. After seeing so many small towns, in fact every town we have been to on the south island has been small, it was quite a surprise to us that Dunedin was so big! A small city really. After Wanaka we started making our way to Queenstown, and on the way stopped at a small town called Arrowtown. ok after Fox glacier our intention was to head to a town called Haast thinking there would be loads to do there... HOWEVER, when we finally got there it was like a ghost town with about 30 houses, and even if we did want to do some activities on the lake there we wouldnt have been able to because we couldnt find anybody!!
