Ilha Grande was next we decided to start our camping here, not much grass around so we were shacked up on nothing but dirt! We had already seen some of the beaches, we were excited so we didnt care! "grande" for those playing at home is large so this island was truly massive but so untouched it was amazing! No cars, no atms just a chilled out lifestyle. We ended up staying 8 days on the island and managed to see around 10 of there beaches, Lopez Mendez was our favourite a large waved beach which was prestine! It did take a 2.15hr hike to get there, but nik finally parted with some money to get the boat back. There was a couple of lagoons and the fetticini waterfall which were nice! Ham n cheese rolls for lunch everyday for nothing and at 50cents a kilo bananas were a steal! The main town Abraoo was so small u bumped into everyone u had previously met all the time, our first night there, pwe were already having dinner with two couples we shared a dorm with in Rio, not to metion seeing girls we did a tour with in Rio! The island was "grande" but the community was very small but lovely, safe and suited us down to a tee!
