After taking the scenic route to find a runway at Heathrow with no ice on, the 12 hour flight went surprisingly quickly after watching 6 episodes of Peep Show, Burn after Reading, RockandRolla and Nick and Norah's infinite playlist?!. Once I had consumed the pancake breakfast I was literally unable to keep my eyes open and woke up as we were descending into a hazy Hong Kong.

Got a train and a bus very easily to Jordan where my hotel was situated. Was offered numerous tailored suits whilst walking with a massive backpack trying to find the hotel. One of the tailors who I first chose to brush off did actually direct me to my hotel, although for some reason I chose to ignore him, carried on walking to the end of the road, then turned around, bumped into him again and he told me where I should have gone. Checked in, showered and went looking for food.

Walked down Natahn Road, tended to be mostly clothes and herbal shops as opposed to restaurants or snack bars, headed down Jordan road and found a decent place. Being the only tourist in there, i decided to go the full hog and whipped out 2 guide books from my back pocket and ate a beef and chicken dish quite successfully with chopsticks.

Back to the hotel to plan the itinerary for tomorrow.
