We caught the bus to Pike Place Market to see the flying fish. More tourists than people buying fish but a few were passed around while we watched.
We then made our way to the harbour cruise. This lasted about an hour with the weather nice enough to sit on deck. There were some nice views and the guide had so much knowledge of the local area.
After we docked we walked along to the aquarium. They had shallow rock pools to touch sea cucumbers and anemone. Our favourite bit were the sea otters where we spent most of the time.
After a lunch of bagels we found the most disgusting visitor attraction, the gum wall, a large section of wall covered in discarded chewing gum. We added our own pieces of double mint to the collection. I took a picture of Molly and Tracy in front it but they refused to move when I said "back a bit, back a bit more"!
We looked around the market, where Tracy bought a glass pumpkin, and then Macy's department store before getting the bus back.
At the science centre we watched the last Harry Potter film on their IMAX in 3D. While we waited for Tracy after the film Molly and I played with the musical science experiments. Popped into Safeway for chicken, fruit and milk.
Back at the hotel, when it was dark, we went up on to the roof terrace to look at the lights of the city.

MUM I thought Macy,s was only in New York. You certainly are having a fabulous time. Thought you were going to Seattle by train!
Nick We were going to go by train but there was only one a day and that leaves Vancouver at 6 am!!!! The coach dropped us 5 mins from the hotel and the train drops the other side of town. So it worked out easier to get the coach. Also we arrive back in Vancouver at 7:20 pm rather than 11:40 pm by train.
lisa lou Chewing gum wall - fantastic!!!!
