After getting up so early we caught the bus round to the airport at 3:20. The check in desk was right in front of us with only a few in the queue. There was a problem with the computers not sending passenger information which stopped them opening for 40mins, so we entertained ourselves with eye spy and rock, paper, scissors. (with the new additions of fire water earth wind hand of god and claw of Satan!!)
Once checked in we went through the new security area which was a lots larger and brighter with bar coded swing gates.
We had breakfast, looked around the shops and once called make our way to gate 38.

Just landed at Edmonton, Alberta. The weather is really bad. Looking out of the window you can see it's been raining for some time as all the fields are flooded. We are here for about 45 minutes.
Hopefully, as we are flying over the Rockies, the weather will be better in Vancouver.
Just been given an orange by a lady on board. She has a large bag of them and due to customs can't take them off the plane.
