Day 20
It couldn't last forever, and after a week in one place, we now head to the Airport for a flight to Sydney.
New Zealand has been an incredible place, every City or Region that we have visited has been so different to the previous. Each of them with their own charms and we have been warmly welcomed wherever we have been. Such an amazing country!
We take the bus into Auckland Centre and then board another to the Airport. It costs $16 and is by far the cheapest and easiest way to get there.
Everything goes smoothly with the flight, and we are soon in Australia, after declaring everything that we are carrying, just to be on the safe side...i've seen Border Patrol on TV, and don't want to get held up, but they let us straight through without any questions.
A taxi takes us to our Hotel for the next 3 nights, the Rydges World Square. After being in (very nice quality) Motels since pretty much Hong Kong, its nice to be back in a top Quality Hotel.
We only have 3 Nights in Sydney and want to fit in as much as possible, so we head straight back out after dropping our bags and freshening up. We take a walk through Chinatown, down to Darling Harbour. Its getting late now, so by the time we reach Darling Harbour, it's almost in darkness, but its a thriving area, lots of restaurants, nightclubs and evening entertainment. We go for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, then wander back to the Hotel.
Tomorrow, we head out of town for the day
