Coming back to little America was very strange, talk about culture shock! We had a day to kill in Cancun so we headed out to the beach. Apparently Mexican law states that all beaches are public property and anyone can go anywhere on them. Well that's all fine and good but in Cancun every single entrance to the beach is blocked by a hotel so basically in order to access the beach you have to either stay in one of the hotels or buy a day pass for a hotel - crazy! Anyhow we bit the bullet and bought a day pass and found ourselves in Spring Break! So many young drunken Americans and a pool DJ rapping badly over hip hop and playing drinking games. We were very glad that we were only there for a day...
