I love it here!! I love it I love it I love it. Its one of the most stunning places I have ever seen (apart from a mirror). Yesterday we just laid on the beach and in front of us is snow caped mountains, behind is the city and to the left is Stanley park (where Jumanji was filmed don't ya know- its kind of like a rain forest) and to the right is the harbor. Its like one of those four season pizzas you get in pizza express! We have also been to the aquarium and seen some increible creature like the white bulugas & last night we went out for a really nice meal. Our hostel is cool too - feels really homely and a great atmosphere, I could happily live there - its called HI International & I highly recommend it if anyone's thinking of heading over. In fact I highly recommend a lot about this place. The people are really laid back and friendly. Also - everything feels like its in the half price Vancouver sale as the pound is so strong at the moment were doing well for money. In a few days we are heading east in land more to the mountains at Fraser Canyon to start out new job!! SO glad we don't have to look for accommodation & jobs now were here - all the other bunacs are sorting out their CVs and looking for somewhere to live whilst were lazing around enjoying the city. Really excited for the next phase - as if I am excited about being a waitress! Think it's because I am so in love with this place already. Love Jen x
