What a great time.... Not the kind of thing that you assosiate miss "clynique 3 step to beauty" devlin with but amazing. We spent 3 days on a 4 by 4 camping trip (self drive, never seen a car go over a fallen 4 foot wide tree before this, i'm thinking of growing a beard and living in the lake district if it means i can have a land rover, that or becoming a soccer mum). We had a cracking group, two of the lads we knew from whit sundays. We drank and went swimming in lakes, saw big lizzards (that someone said "Goana" and we thought they said "koala", so we were a bit dissapointed but it was still cool). It's hard to say what it was like, it was definately hard work (mainly being wet) and we saw nothing too exciting (except i saw a kangaroo and no one believes me.. rubbish). At one point i coerced devlin to get into a lake (very cold), when she finally got in she had a mini nervous breakdown cos it was so cold(much to the amusement of the rest of the group, but obviously not me!!). Anyway it was very good, i can't say too much cos the internet costs a fortune here. Ho hum. In brisbane at the moment, debating wheter to go to australia zoo (home of steve irwin), costs about 70 dollars so a bit expensive. Had a strange experience last night in our hostal, an old man with altseimers decided to get all violent and hit everone he say (me included), luckily he was very old and it didn't hurt, we got him in a ambulance and sent him on his merry way. very strange, the good thing is that we got the deluxe room for nearly half price.. nice. off to surfers paradise next, so catch you later dudes (getting into the swing of things). adios matt and nic
