Glad that you're enjoying Vietnam more. I hear it is amazing. We've returnrd from Edinburgh and you are right - isn't it a lovely city. We meet Auntie Marg and Uncle Trev for a meal so that was good. Trish and all send their love and I'm still trying to send them this link. I showed them the base camp photos and they were very impressed with you. Rachel came 2077 in the marathon. She did so well and is now training for the Melbourne marathon. You travellers know how to live!! I'm enjoying a week off but wish it was two!
Really looking forward to seeing you and talking to you at the weekend - hopefully. Love you lots and sending a big hug Mum and Dad XX
Look forward to hearing from you

Hi there,
Great to see new pics and read about all your adventures! Look out for Jane Singleton, John's daughter, also travelling in your neck of the woods - talk about a small world!
Look forward to hearing from you again soon - car and Dragon plants O.K. !
Love and miss you xxx

Hey up there girls,
Thought you'd got lost in the malaysian jungle along with Jim Thompson! Don't leave it so long for the next blog.
Looks like you've been having a great time again. What's that, 4 countries in a month, you'll be leaving us behind for the jet set crowd when you get back.
Sounds like you are having a good chilled out time in Cambodia seeing all the sights and a bit of beach. What a couple of philistines you both are, Angkor Wat is supposed to be one of the great sights of the world, they can't have sold any wine there! The dolphins looked pretty cool though.
Keep looking after each other and enjoy yourselves.
Lots of love

P.S. Try not to dream too much about the luxery toilet rolls and smellies in boots...

Hi girls
Nice to see some more of your trip.
I cant believe there's a Tesco in Bangcock!! When I went I couldn't even find a bar that was open.
That temple at Angkor Wat looks fascinating to me-I'd love to see it and the Shawaddywaddy dolphins.
Some experiences don't sound quite as great though.... snacking 'Laos' style sounds a bit grim!
Once again marvellous pictures. Hope you both stay safe and enjoy the rest of the trip. Wish I was with you.
Don't leave it a month till next update!!!!!

ps the panda eyes are very impressive!

Hello Caroline Hope everything is O.K.with you and you're still enjoying your trip. I had a lovely time in Dublin but the old legs are paying the price now! The weather was pretty good and we managed to see most of the sights. The open top bus was great - we went round twice for good measure - hopping on and off as the fancy took us. We also had a trip to the coast on the D.A.R.T. very enjoyable. Of course we spent time at the Guiness experience and enjoyed a pint with panaramic views over Dublin. Soon off to Cornwall and then Croatia on June 9th. Bye for now - Love you xx

We are both very proud of your achievement - it must have been amazing to get there. Well done both of you. The photos look fantastic. Can't wait to hear all about it from you on your return but you've still got so much to do. Enjoy it! Missing you but know what a brilliant experience you must be having. Lots and lots of love XX

"Congratulations!" - the photos are great, they really show the scale of the trek and the beauty of the place. We're so pleased that you achieved your goal and so very proud of you.
Looking forward to more messages, seems ages since you left - missing you loads. xxxxxx

Hi Ladies, well thats an amazing achievement. Congratulations!!! I don't think many people could have done that mammoth trek. There's no way I could, especially in such conditions.
I'm really happy for you both. And the scenery looks absolutely beautiful!
Hey Caroline, I hope you found somewhere that serves pints of GnTs to help with the celebrations afterwards!!
Take care. Love to you both. Richxxx

Congratulations girls. Well done on reaching Base Camp, I'm sure the big chopper was a sight for sore eyes.Looks like you had all that the weather could throw at you, I know the trek is hard enough without all that but I'm sure you enjoyed the R&R afterwards more for it.Might get a framed photo of the trout lips, sounds really attractive!!! Well done again I know how much you wanted to do this.
Lots of love xxx

Hi Auntie Caroline,
Mummy got your birthday card today but the postman had dropped it in a puddle, we dried it though and now it is ok. I hurt my finger on the vacuum today so had got to wear my first plaster - didnt like it at all.
I am going out with my girlfriend Amelia tomorrow and our daddies while the mummies go to the spa.
Hope you managed to get to Base Camp, mummy showed me where it was on your postcard. If there is still some snow there you could build a snowman and snowcam like me and daddy did last weekend.
Anyway I have to go to bed now, miss you lots and I can now made the kiss noise when I give kisses so here is a big kiss from me 'X'
Love

Hello Caroline from a very cold and snowy Norway!
Great to read about your travels been meaning to send you a message but for ages but of course I've been far too busy having lunch with my friends and going running and doing pilates to sit down at the computor!! Sounds like your having a fantastic time and I'm very envious especially of the white water rafting trip Kevin and I love doing that!
We're off home tomorrow for a few days so hopefully someones saved us an easter egg as can you belive this there is no such thing as a chocolate easter egg in Norway - how terrible!! Mind you the chocolate is crap here so suppose its not worth it! Give me cadburys anyday! We're going on the boat as were taking the car back as Richard is buying it off us - no don't get too excited I mean the golf not the TVR!! Anyway we're back friday night and I can't wait to have a big plate of good old fish n chips!! Followed by cadburys of course! My taste buds are watering already!
Enjoy the rest of your travels
love Jane and Kevin x
