Hi all, hope everybody is ok. Sorry I haven't updated sooner, it's been really mad cos i'm always moving around. It's now 08.30am and i'm in Waitamo on the North Island. I'm going to be moving to Taupo today, where i'm going to do a Sky Dive (oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!). I've been in New Zealand since the 8th Feb and spent a couple of nights in Auckland seeing all of the main attractions (one of which was the only nudest beach in Auckland!!), and went to Kelly Tarltons Antartic Encounter, which is an underwater aquarium built around the old storm water holding tanks. I got to see the sharks being fed here which was awesome. On the 10th I picked up the tour bus from Auckland and headed towards Whitianga via Catherdral Cover, this is the prettiest beach I have ever seen in my live, it looks like something out of a movie (and knocks spots of Clacton!). On the 11th I headed towards Rotorua (or rotten-rua cos it has a distintive eggy smell). This has the most thermal activity on the country, with bubbling mud pools, hot springs and a very eggy smell! In the evening I spent the evening at a Maori (this is the tribe of New Zealand)Village where they performed their tribe traditions and we had Hungi (traditional food cooked under the ground for 3-4hrs). On 12th spent the day in Waitomo which is west of Rotorua, and went on a tour to the limestone caves and glow worms, went on a awesome boat trip under the coves where you saw the glow worms. Anyway I must go, I could go one for ages, but it's taken this long to update you so far, and I will try to update again before I leave New Zealand on 22nd Feb Oz bound. Oh and if you've read this and forgotten I am doing the Sky Dive, I just thought I would remind you ahhhhhhhhhhh. P.S Sorry about the lack of pictures, I am having a small technical hitch!!!!!!!
