Hi everyone, we travelled from Gwalior yesterday on a local bus for 3 hours to Orchha, it was an interesting journey no air con and squashed up together in 35+ heat, but I'm getting used to it, we were a spectacle for most of the Indian people especially in the stop overs in the villages. They all wanted to take our Photos! It is beautiful here in Orchaa, it is by the Betwa River which is big and most importantly clean! We are staying in little cottages. Today we have been looking at the old palaces and learning more about the all the religions here in India. Last night Chris and I went to watch one of the Hindu ceremonies on the river where they sang and put candles in to the river it was so peaceful! We had a lovely Indian meal in the hotel with traditional music and dancing, the singing was great and they got us all up dancing and wearing a sort of maharaja hat! We are going water rafting later, and soon off to the Ganges, will keep you posted it is getting harder to find internet connection that actually works!!
