After a final bit of packing and last clean and tidy up of the motorhome we headed to Christchurch Airport at 08.30 to start our journey home. After 12 hours sleep we are feeling much refreshed and had buffet breakfast in the hotel. It was then back on the MRT initally in the wrong direction before finding our way to Marina Bay and onto the Gardens by the Bay. Had an early breakfast on the plane before arriving at Singapore by 07.15 some13 hours after leaving Heathrow! Already 28 degrees. Met by courier for the journey to Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel which turned out to be ideally situated in the centre of the city by the Singapore River.
