Amazing day in the mountains. Our 60 euro Mont Blanc ski pass paid for itself. First up to the top fantastic views 3842m high. Breathtaking literally at high altitude and -26 degrees. Next train up to Mer de Glace. Unfortunately glacier and caves closed due to weather. However very picturesque going up the mountain and we even saw a mountain goat. Next up the chair lifts at Brevent. Had a beer at the top. Freezing!!

After arriving at Geneva airport and eventually finding Harry E who drove us to Chamonix. Stayed at chalet Wymper. Small room but cosy with balcony with great views. First night meal in Chez Yang. Fair to say the worst Chinese we have had! Drinks at Chamonix Social Club. Good vibe but barman couldn’t understand Neil!!
