Well peeps, today I leave Gisborne after 4 months!! I am hopping back on the Kiwi Experience bus and heading to the South Island for some more adventure. I have enjoyed my time in Gizzy, and am qualified to be a local Gizzy Girl!! After 1 week of being a nanny, I then found employment as a cook in a fish/seafood restaurnt. Had a brilliant time there, sampling all the food and beer. Wednesday nights were $2 a drink night, (about 70p), on all beers and spirits, ...

Finally - in Gisborne! Managed to buy a brand new surf board - but waves are flat at mo. And, I have a job, and a place to stay. Well sorted! I can feel lots of surf coming my way, and lots of good times. Have opened my NZ bank account, joined the library, and in witht he locals - sweet as! I will be staying here until April.
