Ok so we are backtracking slightly! OOPs!

Our apologies, we have been sooo busy thats we havn't stopped to complete our blog. So the last port of call was Fraser Island just off Hervey Bay, where we spent Christmas.

From here we headed to a very small place called Rainbow beach for a few days of recouperation. We didnt do too much here. There was a lovely beach, mainly popular with surfers and a small town with tourist shops. We spent most of the time at the hostel, DIngoes. They did a fab BBQ every night for backpackers so we ate here on both nights which was actully chepaer than cooking!

2 days later we headed to Noosa where we decided we would spend NYE. We had 3 nights here in a room with 3 isralian guys and a couple from sydney. Noosa is Beautiful , a real holiday resort but with an upmarket feel. The weather was amazing and we were staying right near a small beach. We had a few walks around and had ice cream...well it would have been rude not to in such a lovely holiday place. :) On new years eve (in the daytime) we walked to the marina to check it out for the evening. It was lovely there BUT unless you were paying quite a lot of money to eat in one of the restaurants then there wasnt much point. Once back at the hostel we decided to have a ew drinks in the bar, then get a carry out and see where the night would take us. We drove (in the couples car) to the booze shop, got the beer in and headed to the hostel where we drank a good aount of alcohol and had a good chat together. At 10:30pm we thought maybe it would be a good idea to head out for a while, assuming there would be fireworks etc. We wited for the free bus into the town, which was at the end of the orad, but everytime it came past it was totally full so eventually we opted to walk it!!!! We went to the beach and waited patiently until midnight..........as you can guess....NO fireworks so we headed home a little disappointed.
The next day we relaxed and packed ready for our next adventure to Caboolture, hwere our work would begin!!!! hmmmmmmmm.....
