Last morning in Metz. We were gonna take the morning to do some internet-ing and shopping. Tiff went out first while i was being lazy and getting ready at snails pace, and discovered that the internet place was closed...ok, so we'll just do some shopping...after about the 5th closed store (no mention of any opening or closing times for sunday...its just not even an option apparently) we got the picture that today would be window shopping in the strictest sense of...

Today we did nothing, and it was fantastic! We were so in need of a break, that a day of laundry and relaxation was just what we needed. So we slept in then played on the internet for about 3 hours at an internet cafe. At this point in the trip all we have eaten for days is meat, cheese, bread, and sweets. Our bodies have been telling us that we need produce so bad, that we went on a mission to find it today. We finally found a cafe that sold "salades" ...

So after getting maybe 3 hours of sleep it was up and off to the next location. we jumped onto a train headed to Metz which only took about an hour. The best on the train ride was when the conductor came on over the loudspeaker, spoke in French for a good minute or two, things that sounded like they might possibly be important...and then when he switched to english it was, Ladies and Gentlemen, we hope you enjoy your trip.
