so today was the last day in London...we slept in a little and then headed to Kings Cross to check in our bags until our flight. made our way back into the city to see the last fez good things left. we walked around Hyde park for a while...there were tons of people there even though it was freezing! we saw some giant ducks and a lady feeding birds out of her hands (tuppence a bag!) and then tubed it over to Buckingham palace...which wasnt as palace-y as i thought it would be...our hands just about froze off because we had gotten hot chocolate and forgotten about the lack of trash cans in the city...

our train took off for brussels around 5...huge shock when we got there, as we couldnt read any of the signs...but after we got onto the next train to Bruges it seemed like we had things in control...well we got to Bruges around 10 and most of the buses had stopped running. we got on what we thought was the right bus, thought we told the lady where we needed to get off, and thought we got off at the right place...not quite. finally someone told us we were actually on the wrong side of the city...woops

a 20 min walk later and we made it to the hostel...
