So I've not had internet access for a while... the location of this post is labelled as 'Arches national park' but we have visited many national parks - Yosemite national park, cathedral gorge state park, Zion national park, Bryce national park and Arches national park. They have all been spectacular! So carrying on from where i left off... Day 8/9 - We took a long drive to Yosemite national park (still in California at this point) and camped there for 2 days...

Day 7 - San Francisco I got rushed of the computer yesterday and didnt get a chance to mention the cruise we took in the evening. We took a cruise from pier 39 on Fisherman's Wharf (and saw lots of sea lions!). The cruise was great, it took us straight passed Alcatraz Island and under the Golden Gate Bridge although the weather still hadn't cleared up! Today we had better weather :). Day 6 - San Francisco So carrying on from my last blog... day 3 we went to universal studios hollywood which was pretty cool, we got to drive down Wisteria lane from Desparate housewives and see some 4D special effects - videos will be uploaded! After Universal studios we changed hotels - still in LA - in preparation for joining Trek America (our tour for the West coast). Day 2 - Hollywood. We arrived yesterday evening, flights ran relatively smoothly, changed at Newark and just about made our connection (by 10mins!) to Los Angeles. It was dark when we got to our hostel (sunsets around 8pm) so all we did was go out onto Hollywood Bouleard (literally around the corner from the hostel) and grabbed a bite to eat and slept.
