Last day in LA. Popped on down to Malibu. First look a walk along Malibu Pier, checking out the area. Found what I was looking for; Carbon Beach. Apparently also know as "billionnaires beach". Hmmm, wonder why?! So, having carefully checked out the stalking laws in California (you can walk where the tide comes into - any dry sand near the hosues is private!). ANd I found it! So today I had tickets for the Jay Leno Show on NBC, usually some good celebs. The taping was not 'till 3pm tho, so I headed to out to Orange County for the morning. Yes, exactly where The O.C. is filmed, except it's not filmed on Newport Beach, it's filmed mostly at Redondo Beach, equally as nice. So I started a little further north, at Manhattan Beach. So, thanks to all the drinks last night (is the UK the only country that uses measures!), I was totally spaced out this morning. Didn't know what to do, but eventually decided to head to the beach. Walking down Hollywood Walk of Fame to get there, I got stopped by some guy trying to sell me a limo tour of something. Chat chat chat, blah blah blah. Turns out he's French so starts talking to me in French, and when I responded in French he said he'd knock $50 off ...

Woke up nice and early thanks to still being on New York time, and decided just to have a day wandering, nice not to have a plan. Pottered up and down Santa Monica Bld and Hollywood Bld, looking at the walk of fame and seeing if I could actually spot many names I knew in stars - turns out not many. Went and saw the Hollywood sign. Then this guy stopped me and asked if I wanted to go to a live taping of Chelsey Lately's show. Don't really like her show that much...

So today was pretty much spent travelling. Quick bit of shopping in the morning in New York, then off to JFK to fly to Los Angeles. Or so I thought. So I get to JFK, and all flights from there to LA had been cancelled or massively delayed, didn't quite understand why.
