We left Ko Pha-Ngan and got on the boat over to Ko Samui. After wandering around to find a place to live that didnt require me to take out a bank loan (!), we found two little love shacks for me and Jade and the two boys. We had a little wander around that night and found a nice English looking place to eat which after a couple of weeks on nothing more than rice and noodles, was a nice change. We then made that our home for the next few days and didnt eat anywhere else.

The next couple of days were spent on the beach of course, I had found my competition in an extremely dark brown tanned man on the beach and he was my target colour. We had our feet scrubbed one day on the beach, was nice to be pampered but not nice seing the amount of dead skin I had accumulated on my travels....yuk.

Whilst on Samui we rented more mopeds out and had a drive around the island and decided on having a quiet night in with some naughty food and a fillm. Well once we saw the TESCO (!!)... that was that. We were staright in there, ready to buy all sorts of things. Wasnt quite as good as back home and was hard to find something that wasnt fish flavoured or made out of fish so we settled on crisps and chocolate so as not to risk anymore dodgy stomachs. I wasnt allowed to drive the moped home as the roads were a lot busier than the other island and well...i couldnt be trusted having only driven it that one time before. I can kind of see their point but I wasnt happy at the time.

Not too much drinking was done whilst on Ko Samui, however we did have a few one night and it resulted in my doing something what some might say is a little bit daft under the influence but well when you see what it is, makes more sense to do it when one is not sober.....me and Jade had been saying for weeks tht we needed to do soemting to mark the end of our travelling experience and to have something to remember the whole thing by. This conversation usually ended in having a tattoo, piercing etc. So well as a tattoo is a more extreme thing to do and should really have some though put into it, i just decided that a piercing would be the better idea. And luckily I hadnt drank too much and so I jus got the piercing in my ear in a very strange part of it. Cant really describe where but it is random.

After Ko Samui, we all headed our separate ways, the boys went to Ko Tao and we headed over to Phuket. After almost not getting there, surprise surprise, we got there, found somewhere to stay and everything was good.

As we were meeting our friends that were flying our for a holiday in a few days time, we spent our two days in Phuket furiously tanning on the beach in preparation to make shame of them with their English looking skin. ie. pale.
