Well we are at the end of the Sydney part of our trip. Going to head onto a overnight bus tonight for 12 hours up to bryon bay but here is the highlights of Sydney...
Day 1 - we didnt venture far from our hostel - jet lagged and in need of sleep we just walked around where we were managed to sort out our mobile phones and then suprisingly we strolled into a travel agents (Wicked) who was offering free internet and we booked the majority of our trip up the east coast. the person in there was really helpful and helped us to work out what we wanted to do and to plan it all out. That was pretty much the first day.
Day 2 - we walked from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach which was a 2 and a half hour walk. It was tiring but amazing bays and scenery. the beaches were lovely. The walk was like a outdoor gym though - full of runners and outdorr equipment, we felt very fat sitting on a bench eating our crisps whilst runners were going past!
Day 3 - we meet with Nat's family who live in Sydney - they were really lovely and very welcoming. They took us round Sydney city centre and we saw the Opera House and the Habour Bridge. We then went up the tallest tower building in sydney and looked over the city which was amazing it was soo vast! then we ate some snapper fish (Aussy fish) which was lovely at the fish markets which overlooked the boats and the harbour. Before going back to the family's house we went to a beautiful spot the other side of the habour and looked at the sights of Sydney from a distance which was really good - got some great pics. That evening we just managed to fit in a massive BBQ of Arabic food.
Day 4 - We went to see the Blue Mountains which was about an hour out of Sydney. We cant describe how big the mountains and the area surrounding was - you couldnt see the end of it, it really was a sight to be saw. We climbed down to the 3 sisters (3 rocks there) and went on a small walk round the mountains. After this we did some sight seeing in the car and went to a waterfall spot which was huge. After lots more food we got an overnight bus to Bryon Bay.
