We arrived in Lima last night, took the "recommended by Lonely Planet" bus to our hotel (have gone up in the world from hostels) and arrived about 2 hours later due to the crazy bus driver going the long way around Lima...wouldn't have minded but it's not that scenic through all the smog! Becky then tried to order us takeaway pizza from reception...the kind bloke there phoned Pizza Hut and tried to order us a large Ham and pineapple, but Pizza Hut were having a mare and the delivery bloke turned up half an hour later with a small pizza for the two of us to share...slightly hungry after that. Today we met some of our tour group that we'll be spending the next 10 days with, and our rep in Lima (Sam) took us to the main square for lunch, and then Miraflores (Lima's beach resort) for dinner and drinks. We've got an early morning flight to Cuzco tomorrow, which is scheduled for the exact time of kick-off for the FA Cup Final...How Rude! xxxxxxx
