Hello from the Castle!

We moved in yesterday after a very long day of traveling and all I can say about the castle is that it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Everything is really old and the chandeliers are really cool. Laura, Allison and I live in the Voorburcht or the fore castle. Our room overlooks the outer courtyard and has a sink - which is awesome. We went in and explored the town a bit last night visiting the two bars to get a feel for which one we would prefer to visit. We are about to go get dinner and then we are going into the town of Nijmegen about half an hour away by bus. I'll post pictures of my room once I've taken them and pictures of the castle grounds once it stops raining. The weather here is much like the weather in the pacific northwest - nice and misty and about 55 degrees.
