Well HELLO Bra-sil!!!! I made it to Rio and its still sinking in...Copacabana beach, Christ the Redeemer Statue, Sugar Loaf Mountain, beautiful people and gorgeous weather...Wow! Its 35 degrees and the sun is shining. The beautiful Brazilians are strutting their stuff in Ipanema where Im staying, here the dress code is bikinis and wedgie shoes for the girls and and havaianas, trendy Brazilian flip flops, and surfer shorts for the boys, allowing easy ogling of their tanned fit bods...drool ;) They look GOOD! Ok so the language is a bit of a problem, I thought Id get away with Spanish but oh no, no chance!! However fitting in is a lot easier, given the European heritage, I dont stick out like a sore thumb as I did in some parts of Mexico! Im here in Rio for a couple of days to try and sort out some tickets for Carnaval, but in the end Im leaving empty handed, though Im not too upset, Ill be back in a week or so and as the weather has turned to reminiscent of rainy old England, Im off to find the sun and Igaucu Falls...
