Our visit to Paris this time has proven to be an interesting one. We arrived in the middle of the "je suis charlie" situation. The city is full of gendarmes and army personnel and yesterday an estimated 2 million people joined a solidarity march through the streets. There were people everywhere, spilling from the route of the march into the many side streets along the way. From our apartment we could see the crowds so we want down to walk and support them. A truly amazing experience.

Not many photos yet as we have been spending the last couple of days in the Marais district just taking in the local area where we are staying.
