We have spent a few interesting days in Paris visiting some old favourites and also taking in some new museums etc. Today we spent most of the day at the Musee d'Orsay which has a great collection of Renoirs, Monets etc. Crowds were low so we actually were able to see far more of the collection than we have on previous visits which was great. Our visit to Paris this time has proven to be an interesting one. We arrived in the middle of the "je suis charlie" situation. The city is full of gendarmes and army personnel and yesterday an estimated 2 million people joined a solidarity march through the streets.
