Wow! Travelling this distance kind of blows your mind. First up, promised pictures from Singapore. Orchids from the botanical gardens, the ‘merlion’ (national symbol of Singapore), THAT hotel on stilts, and the temple of three religions. Still learning on the camera front! The botanical gardens were utterly beautiful and soothed the soul. Here you can buy real orchids dipped in gold, just like the one I have at home, a long ago gift from my lovely dad. A kind of poignant moment.
Postscript: turns out you can only have one picture to each entry (until I learn otherwise) so you’ve just got an orchid for now....
