A couple of great days here in Sydney. Monday we met up with Anna again, walked over the bridge and went to the Flying Bear cafe as recommended. So, day one proper in Sydney. Early start for the Opera House tour. Funny, when we arrived in Sydney I was somewhat underwhelmed by the iconic building, I think because we see the photos so often and it’s SUCH an iconic image that somehow you expect something that dominates. An incredible couple of days, I hardly know where to begin. On Tuesday we had a ‘leisurely’ day, spending the morning walking on the beach and swimming in the beautiful ocean, perfect temperature and great rolling waves. Later on we went to a public memorial garden, in amongst which are wild kangaroos. So we knew we had arrived down under.
