KoTao, Our taxi picked us up from some bungalows along the beach and took us to the boat, which again, was mad and packed. It was an hour and a half trip and was really nice and hot, so we caught a few rays! We had no accommodation, so we looked ion the book for a place which looked ok and headed there. There are loads of jeeps waiting at the pier to take you to your accommodation, they also just pile loads of people in the back! Our bungalow is basic, but still ok, some of the toilets here don't flush, so you have to fill a bucket and do it like that! Yak! We still have a balcony and are two mins from the beach (although it is strange here, because of the tide sometimes there is no beach) Ou room cost 400 bht, which is about 2.80 each! Last night we went for a walk, to check things out, and ended up going to a Thai restraunt where you sat on the floor to eat! It was real exciting and i was even more excited as Lozzy found some Thai food she really loves! We was there quiet a while, as itr chucked it down with rain! Loz decided she had had enough of the plaits in her hair, so started taking them out. I fell asleep, but aparantly Loz was up till 4.30am, taking them out. Oh no! mine are longer and it's gonna take ages! We slept in today and didnt have a plan really, we went for breakfast and met 3 Canadian girls called Mika, Amber and Nikki. We went with them to Nangyuan dive resort. It is three island joined together by sand banks which you can walk along to get to the next island. It only took 15 mnis by taxi boat to get there, it was a bit of a rough ride. i liked it, but Loz was holding on for dear life, cos the bumpy bits scared her. Getting off the boat was ridiculous! It coulnt park up, so we had to jump from boat to boat to get off! Nangyuan, is a protected marine area, so it really was beautiful. The sea was so clear and Turquoise, it was so nice there! It is one of the nicest beaches so far, we went for a swim, but the sea was rough so we came back (we didn't see the red flag!) Next we went across to the otrher island and started hiking up this mountain, barefoot. It said there wasd a viewpoint so we carried on climbing! We clambered to the top and Loz said she didnt like hights, but it was too late, the view was magificent, just like a post card and you could see all three island joined up by the sand. Took some great pics and Loz braved standing up for one! When we was going down the rocks, i fell and my foot was covered in blood, and two nails had fell off and it has now started to go purple, not sure if they are broken, but it is ok, it colud have been my neck! We have just come for food and we got a starter, but they don't understand the concept and bring all your food at the same time!)There are also random stray dogs in the restraunts as well! Going to meet the girls for a drink tonight!
Only staying here one more day then off for a 12 hour journey across to the other side of Thailand!
