The baby's bones are getting stronger and he is rein-acting the matrix inside me all day. If I don't get up by 6am he starts doing summersaults until I jump in the shower and get ready to take him around town. We're in chiang mai now and I'm doing a Thai massage course for the next month. Apart from massage technique we'll be learning about pressure points and energy lines which might be quite helpful for holistic babycare. So every morning I get on my bike and cycle to the Markets to get a healthy Thai breakfast (noodle soup or rice with meat and veg - I love it to have dinner for brekkie) and a huge portion of fruit for the day, dried fruit and nuts for iron and omega 3, pineapple for vitamin c and bananas for folic acid.
Chiang mai is beautiful, though the largest town in the north it seems rather small. The hotel and massage school are outside the old town but the area, muang chiang mai, has a charm of it's own. And the people are much friendlier than on kho pha Ngan.
Oh, my review of the nasty owners of my beach hut is finally up on tripadvisor. Yay!
