Today I got up early and explored Singapore City. I walked towards the skyscrapers and on the way I passed the Parliament, University and Raffles Hotel(I will need to order a Singapore Sling from the cocktail bar before I leave!). I finally arrived in Singapore after an exhausting 12 hour flight and collected my luggage which was a little wet (my contact lens solution had exploded in the cargo hold). I somehow managed to navigate my way through the modern, spacious concourse and eventually reached the train station.
