I'm starting to wonder if i'm in the right country , since leaving Hanoi it's done nothing but piss it down with rain . Halong Bay was great , and the boat i stopped on was so posh , it felt really wierd with it being full of smelly backpackers . It was a little strange singing kareoke on the boat in the middle of the South China Sea .

I got the train the rest of the way through Vietnam , even though it dosen't go much faster than walking pace , The last bus really did scare the s*** out of me . I only stopped of at Hoi An on the way down to Saigon . Not much to do there except have cloths tailor made and argue with moterbike taxi drivers each time they try and rip you off !!

Saigon though was just another completely manic place , got there at 5.30am and the place was already in the middle of rush hour . There's not much to do though for such a big place . Although the Cu Chi Tunnels just outside the city were awesome . You get to crawl through the tunnel system that the VC used to fight the Americans during the war . It's the most clostrophobic i've ever felt as once you started going down it was so tight , you couldn't turn around and go back , with hardly any light either , it was intense . the tunnels had been enlarged to nearly twice the original size aswell , to fit the more rotund westeners through , like yours truely .

This was also the place i became a real man . For $20 i got to fire an AK47 and an M60 , i felt like Rambo . Although there so noisey , if i had to fight for real , i'd s*** myself and start crying just at the noise !!

Been in Cambodia for 2 days now and leave for Bangkok in the morning . I've only managed to see Ankor Wat , which was awesome , well up there with the Pyamids and the Great Wall . Just off for some more white russians to prepare for the 10 hour bus to Bangkok .
