Hi Jenni, Just been talking to your Mam and Dad who of course are really excited now and looking forward to seeing you ... and also to some warm weather since it's very cold and trying to snow here today - we are forecast to have anything up to 8" of the stuff tomorrow !! Been catching up with reading your blog and viewing your latest pix....your party shows no sign of ending !! This will seem a looong week before your Mam and Dad arrive next Saturday morning, won't it ?

We're having a quiet weekend after a busy start to 2009. We had a wonderful weekend in London - did a show, visited two lots of family, ate out in Chinatown but best of all went to a very smart wedding at the Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge where the champagne flowed and flowed. Mmmm! Pity we couldn't afford to stay there but at about £500 per night B&B it was a little beyond our budget!

The following weekend we had a family party here which included a belated Christmas gathering since Clare was ill over Christmas and not able to come to us.

I'm sure Sarah keeps you informed of any other news via Facebook. I think she's coming to eat with us tonight (Lamb Chops, roast potatoes etc) when she's recovered from her night out last night.

Happy New Year Jen...sounds as if you saw it in Big Style. Heard it's 107 degrees in Sydney today - more like minus 107 degrees here !! Not much news from Hilton....quiet Christmas and New Year with most of the family fighting the flu and cold bug which is sweeping across Britain...heard there's Australian ( Melbourne) flu on the way now but you can keep it - we've got enough !!

thanks for xmas card it was really nice,are you all ready for xmas, you will be well trained for partying I don`t think I could keep up with you, go for it girl your only young once. Well we`ve been to tenerife had a lovely time nice hotel and would certainly go back to same place again. Mo`s been all ready for xmas since october just a few bits of shopping to do, where all meeting at nigels and karens xmas morning for bacon sarnies and to watch kids open pressies, me and mo having xmas dinner at home on our own, then we all go to centre parcs at the end of jan, have you seen amanda yet, or margaret,say hello if you do. going to town tommorrow for annual drinks with lads.
