Hey guys,
So as promised, I am getting back into updating my blog, I will fill in the gaps from my journal as I go, I swearrrrr!!! Argh!
So today was Strawberry and Tea day, we are in the Cameron Highlands :) One of the most beautiful places in Malaysia. It's higher than Ben Nevis, higher than Snowdon, higher than anything we have back home. It's higher than Lake Tahoe even. And I thought that was high! So the jungle searches deep into the mountains for every knook and cranny for a place to cling to. It's deep jungle and nothing can get through. EXCEPT TEA. Tea plantations as far as the eye can see. It's fantastic. Although, me and Oliver wandered into the Bhurat one today and got about three metres in before looking at each other and saying 'We don't need to go any further do we? I mean it's tea, I can see that, you can see that, everyone can see it's Tea. If we go any further in we will just be looking at the tea from a different angle right?' I mean it's fantastic to see, but in reality, it's a great, big, as far as the eye can see, field of tea... it has it's own mysteries for sure (well... i'm sure) Some great photos to be taken though!!
Strawberry's next! Healthy strawberry farm (that's it's name) up an eventful mountain road and sweet strawberries are your prize! covered in chocolate and cream (or not for those who think i'm healthy) Yum yum yummmmmmy!
So now an evening eating amazing food, the best of all the world EXCEPT HOME COOKING OF COURSE MUM!!!! But cantainese (excuse my spelling if you can) chinese influence here is massive so the noodles are fantastic! Best thing I have eaten in a long time!
Okay so it's off to Kuala Lumpar tomorrow via bus at 9am, not such a bad start.
Okay so I will admit, the trip is wearing down a little on me, I dont think i have given myself enough time to stop and rest and take everything in, i'm tired and worn out of this trip. Its almost to the point of wanting to come home for sure. I love it out here but it's long long days and traveling is hard. People dont realise but it is hard.
And the thought of being alone again after a few weeks of company is the hardest thought of all. Maybe I will consider changing my flights, spend some money to save some money i guess. Or....... onwards to Vietnam I go.
Not quite sure.
I'll let you guys know.
But for now, know I love you all so much.
Miss you terribly.
xXx
