Hey guys! So here we are in KL. The city of many things squallor and where the rich are rich and the poor broken. This city is massive, sky scrapers are brushing every cloud and most of the time covered in a thick layer of smog... Ah you beauty Kul. So we arrived this afternoon and checked into our EXPENSIVE hotel that turned out to be nothing better than a Travel lodge... to be honest it's worse than a travel lodge and at the prices we are paying it is not ideal. Considering out excitement when the check-in lady proclaimed we had been upgraded and the disgusting room we were prosented with... well... we had to wonder what sort of room we would have been given in the first place. Just a quick note, dont book Citrus Hotel KUL. It is a miserable experience for one and all despite the beautiful photos on the site, but we all know how a little touch up here and there can produce a 5star image from a pile of s***e. Ha! enough ranting, it has a pool and in this heat it's worth it just for that! 38degrees today with cloud cover and rain, i wonder what the boiling heat of the day will be tomorrow! So tomorrow the plan is Petronas Towers and waterfalls just outside the city! Can't wait! It's out long last day together before I fly out on the 31st to Ho Chi Minh to get a fire cracker up my arse to reach Vanessa before she leaves Nha Trang in a few days! Rush rush, can't complain, as much as I want to go home, Vietnam was the whole point of this trip and if I get a chance to chill with Van my Oh so German Wonder, then I dont feel so bad. Tonight me and Ollie will be heading out to Kuala Lumpar's famous night markets, see what's available and gorge ourselves silly on Canteniese and inidan food gallour! Can't wait! Can't say I'm looking forward to the goodbye about to come........ it's been too long since I had seen Ollie before now and then such a long time before I will see him again. It will be christmas time before I even touch base again. :( Ahhh travelling is hard. I know I can sound spoilt sometimes as I actually have this opportunity to do this but it can be very hard for sure. It's alot of heart ache. Okay so I dont want to leave on that note but we are heading out very soon, time to go dress conservatively. Kuala Lumpar you Muslim state, even a dress at the knee is riskaaaay. Trousers it is!
