So welcome to my blog, as you all probably know writing is not one of my passions in life and therefore is definitely not my forte! However as I am flying solo (as they say) on this trip I have noone to rely on for photos and to document my journey, so I am embracing this challenge and creating a blog for those of you who actually care and I guess for myself in years to come! I'm not going to clutter facebook and twitter as the majority of you do not care so this is here for you to browse at your own will or not I guess. It will be nothing fancy just an update of where I am and the main things I've been doing with a few photos along the way!

So how do I begin, are you sitting comfortably, well here goes...once upon a time in a land far, far away (isn't that how all great adventure stories begin!)
