AHH!! Finally we made it home where we both plopped on the bed and took a big sigh of relief. We were home and made it in time for Christmas and New Year's. Oh yes, my first holiday experience in Sydney. Ringing in the New Year with the most spectacular display of fireworks and themed music just across from the Opera House and Harbour bridge was a moment I will never forget. After a long night of celebration and only a few hours of sleep we packed our picnic basket with tea and bickies and watched the Sydney to Hobart race. Hello sailboats! When the holidays were over reality had started to settle in and we both needed what most adults need; job, money and a place to live, just to name a few. No, the AeroCommander was not the most exciting job but it was the oddest. Little did we know that it would take five months before we continue on to our next adventure, or paying job.
