So here we are in sunny Laos... except it wasnt sunny when we drove in it was very rainy indeed....stupid asia weather hating us!! The hotel was nice here though although quite expensive was 20 dollars a night and we dont wanna pay that much, but we were there then so just dealt with it.

Got in to bed when we got there and watched some tv, i wasnt feeling hundred percent so char ventured out for some food, and bless her came back with some rice and noodles for us to share....chopsticks are becom,ing easier to use but def didnt do it right...i had to skip on the noodles when i tasted fish but rice was all good. The next day we stayed in bed i dunno why but we were obv over tired as we slept pretty much all day waking up to watch films... Labour pains was on...that was advertised all the time and finally it was on. Also i finally watched all of taken...now my family will know what a big thing this film is in our topic of convo and ive gotta say...i loved it Liam neeson kicks ass!! haha i know i will be mocked for that...but now i believe fred and mike and lis clearly have no taste in films...i should have known that after they didnt like law abiding citizen...crazyyy!!

That afternoon ..actually was it the following day?? ok all my days have merged into eachother so i really dunno when but at some point we headed out and got something to eat and took a walk along the river. At one point we were hounded by school kids asking us what we would do if we found money in bag and we explained we would hand in police, they were taking pics and recording us...made us chuckle as i thought of a funnier answer...after they had left... always the way.

My lil rucksack type bag had started to break and for some reason my lock had stuck and i couldnt get it off char decided pulling it would be the answer haha soon i realised i had to get a new bag...So we headed to the shop. There was a shop there that sold loadsa random things i loved looking around however as i walked in i became my clumsy self knocking something off then trying to pick it up i knocked something else off in the end i decided walking away would be beneficial! Upstairs they sold bags.. so bought a bag there for couple of quid and char was looking at the more expensive ones but decided shed prob be mugged if she sent that much on a bag over here. When u go up the stairs to the bag part of the shop theres a sign that says leave baskets here, we had no baskets so kept walking i turned round to see where char had got to and she was placing the nail varnish she had just picked up on to the floor on steps i started wetting myself explaining i dont think that was necessary chars. They had these chocolates called woodys in the shop so i got my camera out and took a pic of them (thats what we call my new niece or nephew for thos of u who dont know he/she is yet to be born so we call IT woody untill it is born, although i personally hope the name sticks) I got weird looks taking pics of confectionary then we decided to buy them, i said to char i wish we had decided to buy them before i looked like a weirdo in front of the supermarket. We also saw loadsa baby clothes which i loved they were so cute like lil sailor suits and stuff it wasnt till char came over to see what i was looking at and turned to me with an amused look in her eye, you know these are pet clothes patsy? i dont think lis and mike would be impressed if u bought woody them..We giggled alot about that. We went back to hotel and fourth kind was advertised we had been talking about cheese and biscuits and decided thats what we wanted to eat so in the break between films we ran to the shop again and spent a small fortune on cheese (red leicester for me and blue stilton or some feet smelling cheese for char), bought crisps and two types of bread and a bottle of red wine. When we got back to hotel char couldnt find bottle opener so was trying with scissors, i was establishing that the bread tasted like poop, it was all so sweet and we also had to drink our wine out of plastic cups withs straws attached...classy birds! Char asked me to try and open wine i knew it wasnt a good idea im rubbish with everything i soon proved me right with pushing the cork so far down it went in the bottle. However to my suprise all worked out ok and the wine could be poured and there was only a little bit of cork in it!! bonus!

So we sat in bed drinking our wine and watching the fourth kind, we decided to get out our postcards we had bought in bkk a pack of 8 bargain!! I opened them and looked at first one, nice pic however it said pattaya on it, not goin to pattaya so looked at next one..pattaya again and again and again, so i had abit of a giggle, chars all said phuket but at least wer goin there, mine were from sex land. Oh well its the thought that counts. Char was writing about havinga nice glass of red wine when she knocked the glass and it went all over the sheets very amusing for me as im usually the clumsy one. So we wrote our postcards and sorted ourselves out as we were leaving the following day for vang vieng!
