Gooday from Australia!

We have been in Melbourne for nearly two weeks now and are having a great time. During the first few days we stayed in a very noisy hostel but made lots of friends. We went to see Melbourne Storm versus Penrith Panthers rugby league which was amazing and very different to home!

Our mumsies arrived last Wednesday and after a tearful reunion we went to stay in a HOTEL! Dear me, we both nearly had a heart attack after being in hostels! We had real tea cups and a room with less than 20 beds...very odd!! It is lovely to see our mums after such a long time and are really enjoying spending time with them.

We have experienced a "Dracula" Cabaret one night, which was a 3course meal in a haunted house which enter via a ghost train! There was a comedy night and cabaret which was a really good laugh. We also to Phillip Island on a day trip where we had photos taken with koalas, fed kangaroos and saw wombats, emus and a tazmanian devil!? In the evening on Phillip Island we saw hundreds of penguins pop out of the sea and waddle to their little huts...we followed them on a walkway so got to see them up close. They were soooooooo cute and only about 1ft tall (Kim's height hehehe).

Last night we actually fulfilled a life long dream...we met DR KARL KENNEDY from Neighbours! We went to the neighbours trivia night where Karl, Dylan and Libby were guests. We all had our photos taken with the stars and then boogied on down to Karls band! Yes, we know we are sad but we were so excited and star struck hehehe!

We head off to Sydney for a few days tomorrow which should be great. Will keep you posted.
