Happy Birthday Katharine - 11 today!! She woke up at 530am and managed to wait until 7am before jumping on us to get the day started. Woke up to the sound of the Lorakeets this morning and as we sat outside having our coffee they buzzed our heads looking for food! Everyone woke up early this morning keen to move on and move somewhere prettier and quieter. We were packed up and on the road by 9am and once we got beyond Newcastle the roads became quieter and the scenery prettier. We all had a terrible night's sleep as everyone woke up at some point during the night needing the toilet - so glad we bought a caravan with a bathroom!! Late last night Katharine and I went to the toilets and met a lady who had had a pair of trainers thrown into her annex around 930pm the night before by some school kids who then ran off! She noticed Katharine's bare feet and asked if she had lost any. Katharine was ecstatic to get them back.
