On the road again … We're somewhere east of the 90 mile straight stretch of road, east of Balladonia. Had a great campsite last night. GPS reading of S32o13.528'E123o22.620' if anyone wants to check (Phil?).
Added a new bird to our 'life list' thanks to Tim having photographed them. Yellow Throated Miners.
Slept slightly better than first night. Have to remember that we're in bed around 8.00pm so waking before dawn is not unreasonable! I watched the sun rise, then made porridge and filled the thermos before waking Austen with a hot cuppa. Was able to identify which birdcall I'd heard early yesterday and today - the Currawong.
Our morning packing still needs work - away at 9.05am.
Tim has made campfires the last two nights - he does a great job gathering kindling, starting the fire and keeping it going then extinguishing it safely before bed. We'll keep him in charge of campfires for the trip.
Nat and CC readers - I was able to buy card making magazines in Norseman. I haven't opened them yet - keeping them as a treat for when withdrawal hits!!
Note for Dad - "What's the time?" seems to be the "I'm bored" equivalent. Interesting because we crossed the time line asking us to move our clocks forward 45 mins.
Now heading for Eucla - good day's travel. Hope there are showers available ahead …
Yes - we camped tonight at Eucla, and the showers are a mere $1 for 5 minutes. Heaven!
I'll update Eucla

Michael Glad your trip is going well. Whenever Tim asks you the time tell him to take a photo to post. That way we can keep track of how many times per day he's asking ;)
