Today was wet, expecting 50mm. If only some of that could go to Oz it would hopefully make things better down under. As we walked into town we got wet and had to buy some umbrellas to minimize the soaking. Robson Square had ice skating so the kids had a slide for a while. Tilds was charging and Ems was conservative but they both came off the ice unscathed which is a win. Stacey and Sue met us for a trip to the factory outlets for some shopping. The train ride was a nice break from getting wet. The kids had a great time looking in Gap, Guess, Vans, Roots, Sketchers and Old Navy. Penny and I did some shopping in Icebreaker and The North Face. It was better than Harbour Town for discounts. After a few hours we trained it back to town to look in a few more shops before going back to the hotel to dry off, have dinner and start to tidy up before flying out tomorrow. The fireworks have been cancelled here due to poor weather, can't complain too much when you travel in the northern winter. Bye, bye 2019 and bring on 2020 with all it has to offer.
