Sorry for the lateness of this update, but we have selfishly been enjoying the sun and the mid 20'C temps since we have coming down the coast! As per the norm, our Greyhound journey to Santa Barbara, although only just over an hour long, wasn't without its little oddities!! The crazies on the bus go round and round, or at least they seem to in Monterey!! Our greyhound bus arrives in Salinas and then we have to hop onto a bus to take us to Monterey! But we must have just arrived at the same time all the day attendees were kicked out of the funny farm!! Wow what a difference! After the big cities it's kinda weird being in a place that is seen in half a day!! But it's actually very nice to also be able to walk along a street without a hoard of people around you!! Arriving in Santa Cruz, via our luxury Greyhound bus (about time!!) which included soft leather seats AND free WiFi, but more importantly no major weirdos, we just had to walk just 20 mins to our hotel (again about time!!)!! San Francisco really is a wonderful city with so so so much to do, but also a city which you can sit back and chill!!
