We arrived in KL at 6:30am, which appears to have been a good time for us to arrive! Very few customs officials had appeared for work at that time and so we were passed through passport control in record time! Then it was straight through to collect our bags and we were on a bus to the city within 45 mins! After seeing the Mudd's off we headed down to the Mornington Peninsular to catch up with an old school friend of Sasha's. Approximately 15 years after last seeing each other, we met up with Lucie at her house, and were treated to a BBQ in our honour from her lovely husband Rob, and got watermelon dribble and cuddles from their son Finlay! Being in Sydney for Christmas and New Year was fantastic! Not only did we get to spend it with family (unlike last year sitting in a Vegas hotel room), but we also had 3 whole weeks living in houses, and more importantly, sleeping in an actual bed!! We returned to Sydney early so that we could house, mouse, and rat sit for Hayley and Gary while they went on a well-deserved break to Tasmania. It was with a heavy heart that we finally had to leave Brisbane! Being our home for just over four months, we had very much grown to love the City and all it had to show us! But it was time for us to move on, and to make our way down to Sydney for Christmas and New Year!
