Departure at 6.40am aboard the ICE train from Vienna to Wurzburg, Germany. We then transfer from one train to the next with a 7 minute window. Our next part of the journey will take us aboard the ICE train from Wurzburg to Hamburg with an arrival time of 1605hrs. A beautiful sunny September day in Vienna greeted us this morning. The maximum temperature forecast today is 24. Definitely shorts and Tshirt weather. We started the day with a chocolate museum with free tasting. We really enjoyed this museum(especially Mum). Then on a bleaker note we went to the Torture museum and it displayed all the horrible tortures humans could think up. After that we caught the bus to the Natural History Museum of Vienna. At 2105hrs we boarded the OBB train to Vienna, Austria. The couchette was cosy, the showers were missing, the toilet was without paper and the beds were hard. It was clearly not as good as the Sunlander. All that aside it was sure to be a comfortable trip with stinky socks and feet. Arrived to Vienna at 0900hrs after a fair nights sleep.
