Karaoke KTV
For the most part we have nothing like this in the US. Basically it is a large building that houses many rooms that contain a big screen tv, karaoke system, and some form of seating. Everyone takes turns singing songs. It seems like most people in China take this form of entertainment very seriously. The really get into the singing and try very hard to hit all the notes. Since I don't sing well, I decided to improvise and add some dancing to my song (pinball wizard) I think it made an impression on them, as they all were clapping when I finished! Lol! I had a great time though and really appreciated being given some time to unwind and do something that is normally not in my personality.
