We hit Las Vegas at about 2pm and did well to find the hotel. We self parked our beast of a hire car and then headed to find where to check in. Ummm. Where is the front desk? The place is a maze! We tried different lifts, thru shopping arcades and the canals of Venice and thru a few casino gaming floors until we find the over the top opulence of the check in area. We stopped and Denny's for some food although we had no idea whether it was lunch or dinner or breakfast. They talk about everything being big in the US. The menu was full on. Big and fried and cheesy. Traditional burger later we ask for a takeaway to put the leftovers in and hit the road before we fell asleep. 3 hours till Vegas.

Off we go! Picked up on time by John and off to the airport. We were stoked to get in the short queue as we were traveling premium economy! But as we were on standby we were told that premium economy was booked out but we could pay a bit extra and go business. Ummm... Heck yes!!!
