Hi everyone. Firstly sorry about the random photo - hardly any US pictures available. Vegas seems like ages ago now and a lot's happened. We went up to Utah where there's loads of national parks etc and for no apparent reason stayed in a town called Cedar City for a few days hanging out with some locals. From there we headed to Santa Fe in New Mexico, which is a really cool arty sort of place and Max earned some extra cash putting up tents for the arts and crafts fair. For the evening we headed to Alberquerque, which has cool nightlife. After a few days there we embarked on another epic voyage to Austin Texas, which is a lot more interesting than it sounds with a massive college population and loads of good bars. Lack of showers was starting to become an issue and the van was smelling a bit funky so we found this huge outdoor swimming pool (900 yards long) that's actually more like a river. Couple of good nights in Austin, where we met more locals and went to one of the best clubs yet, where this live hip hop/jazz band called Boombox was playing. After a brief stop in Houston to watch a baseball game (Astros v Rockies) we got to New Orleans. This place is hot and nightime sweatiness in the van is rife. Already had a great night out in the famous 'Bourbon Street' and listened to a bit of live jazz. Van is holding up ok - now consistantly starts 2nd time. Florida in a few days to stay with some friends. Beds and showers - wahey!
