So my new years was pretty quiet, I met up with my rellies and spend it playing Trivial Pursuit not even cracking open a drink… at 11:30 the put on the Live worldwide celebration where they showed the Sydney fireworks…. Straight away I felt sad and totally withdrew, I missed home, I missed everyone… So I went to bed and cried and woke up the next morning sad but determined to push on past this and headed to Birmingham where I had booked into a boackpackers to stay until I brought my ticket to Dublin to see Amy, I had only decided a couple days before I left so had to just throw it together.

In Birmingham I mad e a few friends and spent new years day….. eve getting drunk with them, Thomas from Brisbane and Obi from Glasgow. I basically spent the 2 nights there drunk and got on the bus Monday morning to Dublin still drunk and keen to recover as quickly as possible knowing it was Same Mondays with Amy and her friends.
